Big Eyes the Tick was created by a young boy’s imagination and love of drawing. His little sister was the coloring pro and they spent hours creating the magic of Big Eyes and his friends. As a way of expression and connection, Big Eyes became a main staple in their life.

As the two grew older, they faded away from Big Eyes until one day they decided to write a few children’s books about emotions, sensory issues and behaviors as a simple way to connect parents and children together. Who would the main character be? None other than Big Eyes of course! This reconnection to their youth inspired 10 books and some fun along the way.

The Big Eyes series will leave an important message for children, that they are very special and deserve to always be themselves no matter what. Big Eyes also teaches parents what to do in a simple way, sometimes just a phrase can shift an entire moment. The simple artistic illustrations allow the readers to connect to the characters without all the distrac- tions.
